Electrolizing is a proven proprietary thin dense hard chrome plating process that is used to prolong the life and improve the performance of ferrous and non-ferrous parts, tools, gauges, and dies. Electrolized parts perform better and last longer by up to 1000 PERCENT.
Electrolizing assures optimum resistance to wear and corrosion of metallic surfaces. It offers maximum resistance to abrasion, erosion, scuffing and galling of metallic surfaces.
This PROPRIETARY CHROME PLATING PROCESS provides a surface hardness of 70-72 Rc and duplicates surface finishes as fine as 6 rms. The coating is applied to a maximum thickness of 0.0006 inch with a tolerance of ±0.0001 inch per side with no distortion in the metal substrate. |
